Peter is our counsellor at Growing Hope Solent. Peter blends creativity with therapeutic insight to support emotional healing and personal growth. He believes that when people feel truly seen and heard, transformation becomes possible - and creativity is often the key that unlocks that door. Peter creates a playful, safe space where emotions can be explored through drawing, sand tray therapy, and imaginative games. He helps children build emotional resilience, develop self-awareness, and feel empowered to express themselves in ways that feel natural and fun. Peter’s goal is to help people of all ages feel understood, supported, and inspired to grow - using creativity as a bridge to healing, self-discovery, and emotional freedom.

My name is Vicki, and I have spent much of my career working with children as a Paediatric Nurse. Since becoming a mum myself, my focus has shifted towards supporting my own children and advocating for their needs as they navigate neurodiversity. While this journey has brought its challenges, it has also given me a deeper understanding, insight and compassion for children with additional needs and the families who support them. I am also part of a large church community, where I co-lead the Welcome Team. I love helping people feel valued, included and part of the church family. Outside of work and church, I love spending time with family and friends, taking my dog for walks, and enjoying the creativity and relaxation that comes with crocheting.
